Carley Varley

Carley Varley (named after the lead vocalist) is an Alternative Rock band based in the South Coast UK. Formed in 2023 the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Carley Varley, guitarist Alex Tompkins, bassist Jordan Shepherd and drummer Fred Sedgeley. Carley Varley loves making pop songs into rockier edgy tunes, with their lead powerhouse vocalist Carley adding her twist with her haunting yet powerful voice. Carley Varley's original songs are packed with emotion and entrancing with her storytelling. The Homesick EP was featured on BBC Introducing, The South Coast Music Show (Voice FM), Forest FM and Black on Track. The band are currently performing Carley's original music along with their covers with a twist by groups such as Paramore, Taylor Swift and The Cranberries. 

They performed at Poole Harbour Festival and Dorchester Cider Festival in summer 2023 are set to return in 2024. The band's debut was at The Attic Southampton in May 2023, read the review by David Chinnery down below. The band also performed their first ever headline show at The Railway Inn Winchester in 2024, rocking the house down with support for The Surge and Fox Palmer. They are set to perform at festivals such as Rock the Rec, Poole Harbour and perform at incredible venues such as Chaplin's Cellar Bar and The Half Moon Putney this autumn.
